Breaking Ground on the YMCA Wesley Chapel
We’re proud to announce that Burgess Civil has officially broken ground on the highly anticipated YMCA Wesley Chapel project, in collaboration with our partners at Creative Contractors. This marks a major step forward in bringing a vibrant new resource to one of the fastest-growing areas in Pasco County.
A Community-Focused Project
The new Wesley Chapel will serve as a central hub for health, fitness, education, and family programs. It is designed to provide accessible wellness opportunities and foster community engagement across all age groups. From athletic facilities and group classes to child development programs and outreach initiatives, this facility will play a vital role in the lives of local residents.
Burgess Civil is leading the site development, including earthwork, utility installation, and infrastructure preparation—laying the foundation for a space that will inspire connection, movement, and growth.
Trusted Partnership and Vision
Our team is working closely with Creative Contractors, a recognized leader in public and community-centered construction. Together, we are committed to delivering a high-quality facility that reflects the values of the YMCA and meets the needs of the Wesley Chapel community.
You can learn more about the YMCA’s mission by visiting the YMCA of the Suncoast, which oversees this and other initiatives across the region.
What’s Next
Sitework is now underway, and we’re preparing for utility and foundation work in the coming weeks. We’ll be sharing regular progress updates, photos, and behind-the-scenes insights as the YMCA Wesley Chapel takes shape.
Stay tuned and follow along—because building strong communities starts with strong foundations.
